There is only one Holy Bible, but many translations. These differences are the result of differing opinions on what ancient texts are considered sacred and how to translate the oldest known sources into modern languages. The translation of scripture that we read at Mass is the New American Bible Revised Edition (NABRE), which is published by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
